gen0cyber credit helper!
a few easy credit card / credit score tips:

1st) you need to know your scores. get a 3 in 1 deal so that you get
all three reports / scores. (Equifax, Transunion, Experian).

2nd) compare all the data. some of the bureaus will have conflicting info.
if you see something unfavorable on any of them - dispute it until it's off.
*hint* if it's from a collection agency and is close being 7 years on it - let it
go. it will eventually fall off on the 7th. otherwise you will remind them of your debt and
they will add some time onto it (like the actual day / year when they purchased the collection debt.
could add a few years. plus they will run your credit every now and then to force your score lower).

3rd) never cancel old credit cards. unless you have like 10 late payment history on it lol.
otherwise, use them - stay an active consumer. keep the balance at least 33% below the credit line.
try to use the old ones, instead of getting new credit. every time you run a hard credit check - it lowers your score.
so, use it wisely.

4th) always pay on time and more than the minimum (even if it's just $5).
you want to keep the history alive long-lived and positive. don't pay it all off...always leave some on
to keep it alive. if you feel you're getting a bad deal on rates or want more credit - call them or do it online
at http://www.credit-asap.com

in these hard credit crunch times you need all the help you can get - make it count.

good luck from gen0cyber
